Weep Vent
The AIR950 dual purpose concealed/exposed weep vent is designed to meet N.H.B.C standards. The vent has a baffled grill and drip lip at each end which reduces the ingress of driving rain and wind. The grill size is specifically designed to be wide enough not to be blocked by water droplets, debris or paint. But still able to stop large insects from gaining access.
The AIR 950 dual purpose weep vent should be fitted in open perp joints and mortared into position. The weep vent should be spaced at no greater than 900mm centres. To meet N.H.B.C guidelines, it is recommended to site the weep holes at every 450mm (MAXIMUM) with at least 2 per opening above doors and windows.
